Using multiple platforms is a powerful tool for educators because it promotes student engagement. Moreover, it is critical that students learn and interact with relevant historical content . In San Joaquin County (and the Delta Valley) that means exhibits that speak to the lived experiences of the local community.
The San Joaquin County Historical Museum has worked with community leaders and educators to develop exhibits with students, teachers, and parents in mind. In addition to free historical exhibits, SJCHOnline provides curriculum subscriptions for educators to support students with both classroom learning and online learning.
